Research in acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the alternative fields of medicine where the most amount of research has been conducted. A series of controlled studies seem to show that acupuncture is an effective form of treatment for a number of conditions.
Among these, osteoarthritis, chemotherapy-induced nausea, back pain, menstrual pain, asthma, migraine/headache and incontinence, are mentioned.
